Surbhi Chandna has tested negative for COVID-19. The actress shared the news on Twitter after she got herself tested because her Naagin co-star Sharad Malhotra caught the virus.
Sharing the news, Surbhi wrote, "It was important for me to keep my mind stable and sane cause these few hours have been mentally exhausting especially the BIG STRESS was for The Parents . Thankyou and Big Hug for the strength #testedNEGATIVE"

While Sharad tested positive for COVID-19, his wife Ripci tested negative. Sharad who has mild symptoms has quarantined himself at his home. “I am in home quarantine, under strict medical supervision, under strict medical supervision, so please keep me in your prayers and I promise to bounce back sooner and stronger,” Sharad had said.
Earlier it was reported that the cast and crew of Naagin 5 have been informed about Sharad’s test results and have been asked to isolate themselves. Those who have come close to the actor will also be tested for COVID-19 and the shoot will be stalled for a few days to allow sanitisation and fumigation of the sets.
