Kapil Sharma’s popular comedy series The Kapil Sharma Show seems to have hit the wrong note with fans of Sushant Singh Rajput and Arnab Goswami advocating to boycott it. In its latest episode, an act featuring Kiku Sharda where he portrayed the popular news anchor has not gone down well with the viewers.
In a segment last night, Kiku as Bachcha Yadav and Krushna Abhishek as Sapna hosted ‘Raddi News’ wherein Kiku copied Arnab, whose loud and unpredictable way of covering news has always been a fodder of memes and caricature. Kiku poked fun at the journalist by making news out of insignificant issues. The act also included the comedian asking ‘Mujhe Jug Do’ desperately and even accused others of curtailing his freedom of speech. However, the segment got the ire of netizens who started trending #BoycottKapilSharma soon thereafter. Check out the tweets below:

The segment entertained the guests Manoj Bajpayee and Anubhav Sinha but was dismissed by the netizens for its portrayal. However, there were quite a few who stood by Kapil’s show and tweeted positively.
