A new promo of The Kapil Sharma Show featuring Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani as guests has been unveiled. The actors were on the show to promote their upcoming film Laxmii and from the snippets had a blast on the show with Kapil Sharma and his co-stars Sumona Chakravarti, Archana Puran Singh, Kiku Sharda, Chandan Prabhakar, Bharti Singh and Krushna Abhishek.
In the promo, Kapil tries to take a dig at Akshay and tells Kiara that he was jealous of the actor in a particular advertisement. Akshay laughs and slyly reveals that actually the comedian was the brand ambassador of the brand before he came on board. Akshay claims that Kapil earns big bucks and has a bigger house than him. “Jitna yeh aadmi idhar show mein loot ta hai na, koi nahi loot ta. Ek din main iske ghar gaya tha. Itna bada ghar toh mera nahi hai (The amount this man earns from this show, no one does. I went to his house one day. Even my house is not so big).”

Kapil also tries to joke with Akshay about his choc-a-bloc schedule and asked him if his date diary went for a toss due to the nationwide lockdown. To this, Akshay says, “Khud 365 din kamaye, lekin mera calendar chhota kar de (He himself works 365 days a year but wants me to work less)!
Since this was Akshay’s 25th appearance on the show, he gets hilarious gifts from the cast members as well. Transgender activist Laxmi Narayan Tripathi also makes an appearance during the show’s promo.
