Every year, the nation awaits Diwali. Known as the festival of lights, Diwali signifies new beginnings, the triumph of good over evil and light over darkness. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Bollywood gave a miss to lavish parties and spent quality time with family members at home.
Shehnaaz Gill celebrated Diwali in Mumbai. The Punjabi actress who made headlines for her drastic weight loss, shared pictures on Instagram. Shehnaaz was seen in a black and golden outfit and she posed for the cameras with her pretty smile. "Wishing you and your family a very happy diwali and may all your days be filled with love and joy. And a heartfelt thank you to my fans for always making sure i look good.....ps. thanks for this suit and jhumkas...i will always love you all," she wrote.
Interestingly, Shehnaaz's 'good friend' Sidharth Shukla also opted for a black and golden Manish Malhotra kurta. The actor went down the memory lane and recalled the time when he couldn't afford a garment from the ace fashion designer. "We’ve all fantasised wearing a Manish Malhotra creation...... sadly I couldn’t afford it ... but this Diwali I have my customised Manish Malhotra creation ...... a very big Thank you to the one n only @manishmalhotra05 @manishmalhotraworld Happy Diwali to all ," he wrote.
Himanshi Khurana cut out a stunning picture on Diwali. She opted for a green lehenga and posted pictures on Instagram.
TV's beloved bahu Shivangi Joshi looked ethereal in a blue lehenga. She rounded off her look with a bun and statement necklace and maang tika.
