Last December, Kapil Sharma and his wife Ginni Chatrath embraced parenthood with the arrival of their daughter Anayra Sharma. Doting father Kapil, who is generally busy with shoots, spent time with his little princess during the lockdown. Now, as Anayra will be turning one on December 10, rumours are rife that Kapil and Ginni are set to welcome their second child in 2021. The couple will be celebrating their second wedding anniversary on December 12.
According to a leading daily's report, Ginni is in her third trimester. A source close to the family told the daily that the baby is due in January 2021. Kapil's mother is in Mumbai so that she can be with her daughter-in-law during her pregnancy and delivery. Kapil and Ginni are yet to make an official announcement.
On Karwa Chauth, comedian Bharti Singh, who is Kapil's close friend, went live on Instagram. Towards the end of the video, Ginni made an appearance and gave a glimpse of her growing baby bump. Ginni was celebrating Karwa Chauth with Bharti and a few others. Kapil, on Diwali, shared family pictures on Instagram. Ginni tried to hide her baby bump behind a chair.
Kapil, after Anayra's birth, tweeted, "Blessed to have a baby girl. Need your blessings. Love you all." On January 15, he shared her first pictures on social media and wrote, "Meet our piece of heart 'Anayra Sharma' #gratitude."
