There were hardly a few happy and cheerful occasions in 2020. But the tinsel town is ending a dull year with a bang. While some celebrities are getting married, others are making the most of their time by signing new projects for the next year. Here's what our beloved television stars are up to:
Gauahar Khan and Zaid Darbar's mushy pre-wedding video
Gauahar Khan is all set for her nikaah with Ismail Darbar's son Zaid Darbar. The intimate ceremony will take place in Mumbai on December 25 with family members in attendance. The bride-to-be seems all excited for her big day and why not? With just a week left for the wedding, Gauahar, on Instagram, shared a video from her pre-wedding photoshoot.
Gauahar, on Instagram, wrote, "1 week to go . #GAZAbkahaiDin @zaid_darbar ♥" In the video, Gauahar is seen wearing a Mrunalini Rao multicoloured lehenga with a mustard blouse and fully hand-embellished koti.
According to reports, Gauahar and Zaid's wedding will take place at Mumbai's ITC Grand Maratha. Talking about their 7 years age gap, Gauahar said, "To meet a man who believed the same, made me think he is my kind of person. I can be a goofball with him and also find the maturity and balance in the relationship. The age difference isn’t much and it doesn’t bother me."
Madhurima Tuli to romance ex-boyfriend Vishal Aditya Singh on screen
Bigg Boss 13 viewers are well versed with the relationship former couple Madhurima Tuli and Vishal Aditya Singh share. Now, they will be reuniting, but just for a project. Talking about romancing Vishal on-screen, Madhurima revealed that her brother Shrikant wanted to sign them for his upcoming single titled Khwabeeda.
Madhurima told a leading daily that Shrikant had given up on the idea of casting them together but when he approached Vishal after the lockdown, things fell in place. "Shayad kuchh toh pichhle janam ka naata hai that we have come together (laughs!). Shrikant has been wanting us to feature in this song for the past one-and-a-half years. Though he had given up the idea after our fights, he approached Vishal after the lockdown and things fell into place. I didn’t want to miss the opportunity either, as the song and its concept are amazing. As far as Vishal and I are concerned, I have moved on and don’t want to talk about the past," she told.
Vishal added, "I will never decline good work, be it with Madhu or anyone else. I only focus on my character. The biggest reason for me to be a part of this song is that I love it. Also, I told Shrikant that I would like to be creatively involved with the project and he agreed. Madhurima and I are fine till the time we play our respective characters, trouble starts when we become ourselves. We were clear about what we wanted to do for this project, and finished it within two days without any fights."
Vishal and Madhurima said they didn't experience any discomfort while shooting together. "Jo hona hota hai, woh hota hai. We know each other so well that there was no discomfort. We have fought so much that there is no scope for awkwardness or ego between us anymore," Madhurima said.
