Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi have been winning hearts since the inception of Kartik and Naira in producer Rajan Shahi’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Now that Naira is no more part of the story, we have her lookalike Sirat who has come as a ray of hope to Naira’s fans. Seeing her blossoming chemistry with Mohsin will be a dream-come-true for ardent fans of the show.

Sirat, essayed by Shivangi, is a character which stands unique in the show. Karthik encounters her in a boxing class. Heartbroken after the death of Naira, Karthik will find it even tougher to move on after seeing Sirat’s resemblance to Naira. The two are great together and remind fans of the unconditional bond of love that Kartik and Naira shared.

The sequence where Kairav insists that it is his mother who he has seen in the boxing class and Kartik goes to find out is so overwhelming, you just want the two to meet. And then when Karthik flashes his mobile light to see Sirat is a scene which the fans of the show will never forget.
