The Kapil Sharma Show started in 2016. The show went off-air in 2017. Reportedly, Kapil and Sunil Grover's ugly fight was the reason. Sunil played the role of Dr. Mashoor Gulati and Rinku Devi among other characters. Navjot Singh Sidhu was also a part of the show but was replaced by Archana in 2019. It returned in 2018. The show is produced by Salman Khan's production house and Banijay Asia.
