Rakhi Sawant is bravely fighting an emotional battle. The Bigg Boss 14 finalist's mother, Jaya Sawant, is undergoing chemotherapy for a tumour in her gallbladder. Rakhi's mother was admitted to the hospital when she was inside the Bigg Boss 14 house. Since the show ended on February 21, Rakhi is with her mother in the hospital.
After Kashmera Shah, Vikas Gupta paid a visit to Mrs. Sawant. Rakhi, in the Bigg Boss 14 house, shared a close bond with Vikas and even called him her brother. The producer, on Instagram, shared pictures from his visit to the hospital. Sharing selfies, he wrote, "maa suraksha hota jo bhagwan dharti pass Shakti mano maa sakti jaan #RakhiSawant I am so proud of you that even when you knew your mother is going through such serious illness you continued to entertain people, you worked hard so you could earn and justify the money you get from #biggboss14 which today you are using to get your mother treated. I shall be chanting for auntie and the operation to go successful. I had so much fun being with her & also I think her new hairstyle is super cool. By now after meeting me she also believes the same I am here and you know it"
Rakhi also shared pictures of Vikas and her mother. She wrote, "My sweetheart brother “Vikas gupta” ,completed my family.love you brother !!"
