Dipika Kakar became a household name as Simar in Sasural Simar Ka. The show aired from 2011 to 2018. Dipika, in 2017, bid adieu to the show and was replaced by Keerti Gaekwad Kelkar. Shoaib Ibrahim, who played the role of Prem, was replaced by Dheeraj Dhoopar in 2013 and then Mazher Sayed stepped into the shoes of the character in 2017. Now, Sasural Simar Ka is returning with its second season.
Colors, on social media, released the promo of Sasural Simar Ka 2 featuring Dipika. In the video, Dipika aka Simar greets fans with ‘Jai Mata Di’. She then spoke about spending many years with the audience and making priceless memories. She added that this time, she will get someone along to join the family.

Sasural Simar Ka also starred Jayati Bhatia, Avika Gor, Manish Raisinghan, late Ashiesh Roy, Rohan Mehra and others.
