For the last 12 years, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been entertaining the audience with its relatable plot and fun characters. The sitcom is airing on Sab TV at 8.30 pm daily and revolves around a fictional society named Gokuldham and its residents. Now, as Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah will complete 13 years in 2021, there is pleasant news for its fans.
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is all set to get an animated version that will premiere on the kids' channel, Sony YAY!. The promo of the series surfaced on social media. Characters like Jethalal Gada (Dilip Joshi), Champaklal Gada (Amit Bhatt), Daya Gada (Disha Vakani) and Tapu (Bhavya Gandhi/ Raj Anadkat) will be entertaining the little ones with their animated versions. Isn't it exciting?
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is Asit Kumarr Modi and it also stars Sunayana Fozdar, Munmun Dutta, Sonalika Joshi, Mandar Chandwadkar, Tanuj Mahashabde, Balvinder Singh Suri, Nirmal Soni, Ambika Ranjankar, Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal, Shyam Pathak, Ghanashyam Nayak, Tanmay Vekaria, Palak Sidhwani, Kush Shah, Samay Shah and Azhar Shaikh. Disha, who played the role of Daya, is yet to return to the show after her maternity break.
Apart from this, the show was in the news when Neha Mehta was replaced Sunayana as Anjali Mehta and Gurucharan Singh was replaced by Balvinder as Roshan Singh Sodhi. Nidhi Bhanushali stepped down as Sonu and Palak joined the show as her replacement. Bhavya also quit the show and allowed Raj to take his position.
