Gauahar Khan has opened up about suffering due to the confusion related to her negative COVID-19 report. Two weeks after the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) filed an FIR against Gauahar for flouting COVID-19 rules, the actress has now slammed director Rahul Dholakia over his tweet on the symptoms of the disease. The actress, in a strong tweet, mentioned that she 'won’t let anyone else suffer because of the confusion'.
It so happened that Rahul was replying to a tweet by cricketer Irfan Pathan who tested positive for Covid-19 with no symptoms. "I have tested positive for COVID-19 with no symptoms and have isolated myself and quarantined at home. I would request those who came in contact with me in the recent past to please get themselves tested," Irfan Pathan said in a social media post. Replying to Irfan Pathan, the director tweeted that people can be Covid negative if there are no symptoms. He wrote, "No symptoms? Test again . There is a strong chance That you are negative. Not unusual (sic)."

Speaking from experience, Gauahar corrected his facts and said that even if someone tests negative, they are required to quarantine for 14 days. She said that she didn't want anyone else to suffer because of this confusion now.
Her tweet read, "Lol but one still has to quarantine for 14 days.Even if u are negative in reports post positive report. I know coz I have experienced the same .N won’t let anyone else suffer bcoz of the confusion..quarantine of 14 days is mandatory even if u present negative reports (sic)."

An FIR was filed against Gauahar by BMC (Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation,) and FWICE (Federation of Western India Cine Employees) also banned the actress from shooting for a period of two months. Seeing all this, Gauahar’s team had issued an official statement that mentioned that the actress had tested negative for COVID-19.
