The second wave of coronavirus has got several celebs under the outbreak. Almost every day new names from the TV industry is getting added to the ever-increasing list of celebs that have tested positive for Covid-19. The most recent names are of Manav Gohil and Arjit Taneja.
Manav Gohil tests positive for Coronavirus
Shaadi Mubarak’s lead actor and TV’s popular face Manav Gohil has got infected by the novel and deadly coronavirus. Manav issued a statement on Instagram which he captioned as, "Fighting well." A leading daily quoted a source that said, “The test of the entire cast was conducted last week as part of the regular exercise during COVID-19 which is followed on the set. Unfortunately, Manav tested to be positive and he immediately quarantined himself. Thankfully he isn't having any symptoms as such. The makers aren't stressed much about Manav's absence as they have a decent bank of episodes shot with him and the the female lead. However, a few parallel tracks will be worked out to manage Manav's absence from the show, which will not be of many day.”
The producers, Shashi and Sumeet Mittal also said, “Actor Manav Gohil who is an integral part of the TV show Shaadi Mubarak has tested positive for COVID-19. As soon as the symptoms were detected, he received medical help and has quarantined himself. Immediately thereupon the entire cast & crew were isolated and tested. The BMC is informed and the sets will be fumigated and sterilized as per the protocol. We are constantly in touch with the entire team as their health is our priority. We stand by our commitment to safety and will continue to ensure that all measures prescribed by the authorities are being adhered to.”
Arjit Taneja tests Covid-19 positive
Kumkum Bhagya fame actor Arjit Taneja has also tested positive for coronavirus. He took to his Instagram account to inform his fans that he has been diagnosed with Covid-19 despite following all safety guidelines. He wrote that he is currently under home quarantine and is following all safety protocols. He also urged everyone to not let their guard down like he did. He wrote, “Unfortunately I have tested positive for COVID-19. I am under quarantine and following all necessary protocols. Followed all safety guidelines, but it is what it is. If you have come in contact with me recently then please get tested - for yourself and those around you (sic). The virus is real and is spreading. Don't let your guard down. (I kind of did) Take care and be safe (sic)!!” He captioned the text as, “Stay safe (sic).”
