Hina Khan's father passed away on April 20. He breathed his last after suffering a major cardiac arrest. The actress received the sad news while she was shooting in Kashmir. She came back home as soon as she heard about her father's sudden demise.

However, the paparazzi waiting at the Mumbai airport took no time to surround her for pictures and videos even as she requested them to let her go. Her Bigg Boss 11 co-contestant Vikas Gupta was disappointed by the insensitive behaviour of photographers towards Hina and he slammed them on Twitter. The TV producer wrote, "Someone has lost their father and is requesting you to let her go to her family but still someone shout face pe light maar and the pap doesn’t stop. @eyehinakhan was still being courteous extremely disappointed with the insensitivity shown here. RIP Uncle.”

As soon as the sad news broke last evening, several friends of Hina's from the TV industry paid their last respects. Eijaz Khan, Nikki Tamboli, Kanchi Singh and Hiten Tejwani offered condolences.

Hina was quite close to her dad and often shared pictures and videos with him.
