COVID-19 Second Wave: Gurmeet Choudhary to open a 1000 bed hospital in Lucknow and Patna; Shoaib Ibrahim to provide a meal to daily wage workers for a month

As the country is going through a dark phase, several celebrities have stepped forward to help those in need. In the middle of the second wave of Coronavirus, people are unable to arrange hospital beds, oxygen cylinders and even medicines for necessary treatment. Bollywood and television celebrities are jumping to the rescue. 

Gurmeet Choudhary, who recently donated his plasma along with his wife Debina Bonnerjee, has decided to open an ultra-modern 1000 beds hospital in Lucknow and Patna. He made the announcement on social media. In a statement, he wrote, "I have decided I will be opening ultra modern 1000 bed hospital in Patna and Lucknow for the common man. Followed by other cities. Need your blessings and Support. Jai Hind. Details will be shared soon."

Shoaib Ibrahim, in the holy month of Ramadan, has decided to provide a meal to nearly 200 daily wage workers every day for one month. In a video statement, the actor said that he will be doing his best to help people. He further asked people, who are financially stable, to contribute.
