Due to a lockdown in Maharashtra in the middle of the COVID-19 second wave, sets of television shows have shifted out of Mumbai. From daily soaps to reality shows, production houses are trying their best to keep churning new episodes without any hurdles. According to a leading daily's report, the set of Madhuri Dixit, Dharmesh Yelande and Tushar Kalia's Dance Deewane 3 has been shifted to Bengaluru.
Madhuri, who recently took her second dose of the vaccine, will reportedly not be a part of Dance Deewane 3 for the next 4 episodes. A source told the daily that she is taking a break. While Madhuri will remain absent for two weeks, Nora Fatehi and Sonu Sood will reportedly join the dance reality show as guest judges.
Reportedly, Himesh Reshammiya will be missing from Indian Idol 12 as the shoot will now take place in Daman. The singer-composer is expected to join the unit this weekend. Till then, former Indian Idol judge Anu Malik and lyricist Manoj Muntashir will be taking over.
In March 2021, 18 members of Dance Deewane 3 had tested positive for COVID-19. Later, judge Dharmesh also contracted the virus. Speaking of Indian Idol 12, participants Pawandeep Rajan and Ashish Kulkarni were in quarantine after testing positive for COVID-19.
