Shweta Tiwari jetted off to Cape Town, South Africa, to participate in Khatron Ke Khiladi 11. Soon after, her former husband Abhinav Kohli accused her of abandoning their son Reyansh in a hotel. The actress, in an interview, clarified that Reyansh is with her parents and is being taken care of. Now, Abhinav has issued a fresh video statement in which he alleged that Shweta is lying about Reyansh.
Reacting to Shweta's claim that she informed him about leaving for Cape Town and Reyansh is safe with her family, Abhinav asked her to furnish proof. He further slammed her for leaving her children in Mumbai to participate in Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 to "earn money". Calling himself Reyansh's "natural guardian", Abhinav said Shweta should have left the kid with him. He accused her of illegally detaining Reyansh at an undisclosed location.
Shweta, in the interview, said, "I am a single parent, I need to do the work to run my family. My kids’ well-being is my priority, and I have to fend for them and my family. For someone who is not contributing a single penny to the growth of kids, how easy is it to pull down someone who is trying to balance all their duties." Abhinav, in another video, hit back at her claim that he didn't contribute a single penny.
