The COVID-19 lockdown has given celebrity couples quality time to spend together. Many of them are starting their own family and are all excited to welcome new members home. Now, the latest celebrity couple to embrace parenthood is Shaheer Sheikh and Ruchikaa Kapoor. Well, yes! 

A source close to Shaheer and Ruchikaa told a leading daily, "Shaheer is known to keep a low profile in the media and doesn’t like to talk about his personal life. He has been tight-lipped about the news, keeping in mind the current pandemic situation in the country. Ruchikaa is in her first trimester. They’re both looking forward to embracing this new phase in their lives."

Shaheer and Ruchikaa married in a court in November 2020. The couple has been keeping low-key since then. 

Workwise, Shaheer will be returning to television as Dev Dixit in Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi 3 with Erica Fernandes and Supriya Pilgaonkar.
