Watch: Rubina Dilaik breaks down as she chronicles her COVID-19 recovery journey

Bigg Boss 14 winner Rubina Dilaik is currently on the road to recovery from COVID-19. On May 1, the actress informed that she has tested positive for the novel coronavirus in her hometown Shimla and was home quarantined. Now, on Monday, Rubina shared a video on YouTube in which she documented her journey to recovery. 

In the video, Rubina was seen taking the rapid antigen test which came out to be positive. However, her instant reaction was, "Positive? Positive? Yeah! Ek maheene ke baad, I will donate plasma." She then showed her room where she was quarantined for 17 days. The actress spoke about her symptoms. Rubina highlighted the importance of staying safe and not stepping out without any solid reason. She said, "I am here. If you are also going through Covid, let us fight and come out together."

Moments later, Rubina recorded herself as she said expressed gratitude towards her parents, siblings, husband Abhinav Shukla and all her fans who sent good wishes through social media. She broke down as she thanked everyone. Rubina, in tears, said she is willing to help people in need and will do her best for society amid the COVID-19 crisis in the country. 

On the second day, Rubina said she is finding it difficult to perform regular activities with ease and is taking more time for everything. She was seen practising yoga. Cut to the 10th day of her quarantine, Rubina said that the doctor had added some more medicines as she developed a mild infection in her lungs. 

Towards the end of the video, Rubina told her fans about her quarantine routine and was seen enjoying her meals. 

On Monday, Rubina shared pictures with her sister Jyotika Dilaik and wrote, "Sisters who quarantine together, heal together "
