On Friday, Ankita Lokhande took a trip down memory lane by sharing priceless clips from her and Sushant Singh Rajput’s iconic TV show Pavitra Rishta. In the show, the actress played the lead character and Sushant's love interest/wife. Ahead of Sushant’s first death anniversary, she posted two monochromatic fan-edited videos from the show.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Ankita shared the old clips from the show with Parineeta song, Piyu bole Piya Bole, playing in the backdrop. Ankita also reposted a fan's Instagram story, which was captioned, 'Archu'. She played a character named Archana in the show while Sushant played Manav.
Ankita and Sushant had met on the sets of Pavitra Rishta and had fallen in love. They were in a relationship for about six years and parted ways in 2016. Sushant passed away on June 14 in 2020 after he was found dead in his Bandra apartment.
Pavitra Rishta is a 2009 Indian soap opera produced by Ekta Kapoor of Balaji Telefilms, that aired on Zee TV and was digitally available on ZEE5 from June 01, 2009, to October 25, 2014. Its initial concept was an adaptation from the Tamil serial Thirumathi Selvam of Sun TV. Ekta will be launching the second edition of her popular show on her OTT platform, ALT Balaji soon with Ankita in the lead.
