The second wave of coronavirus has wreaked havoc all across the country. Many celebrities have also lost family members due to COVID-19. Mahhi Vij is the latest celeb who has faced a personal loss now. She recently took to social media to share an emotional note and informed her fans that she lost her brother to COVID-19. Mahhi also thanked Sonu Sood and his team for helping his brother find a hospital bed and said that the actor gave her courage when she had no hope left. She also thanked Bharti Singh for sending funny videos to her brother and keeping a check on his health regularly.

Taking to Instagram, Mahhi shared a screenshot of Sonu's tweet about her brother. His tweet read, "A 25 years boy whom we were trying to save, lost his battle to covid today. All these days despite knowing that his survival chances of survival were minimal. I would speak to the doctor everyday with hope. Never had the guts to share the reality with his parent, who knew that (sic)."
