TV actress Lovey Sasan, who played the role of Paridhi in the first season of Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, recently talked about returning to Mumbai and resuming work after giving birth to her second baby. Lovey, who was blessed with a baby boy on February 19, 2020, is expecting her second child this year.
On her second pregnancy, Lovey told a leading daily, “We did not want a big gap between the two children. We wanted both our kids to grow up together, so that I could also focus on getting back to work. The last three years have been like a dream come true and we feel blessed. It is a great feeling to become a mother and we feel grateful about welcoming another child soon.”

When asked if she misses showbiz after relocating to Bengaluru,she said, “I live in a great city and love the weather here. The cost of living is slightly lower than Mumbai, too. Having said that, I miss Mumbai and my work a lot. In fact, after I got married, I kept getting good offers, but could not accept them. Then I had my baby and was on maternity break. Now, I hope to resume work after having my second baby. I got interesting offers in the last two years, including reality shows such as Nach Baliye and Bigg Boss. However, for now, I am on a break.”
She added, “I am also taking a lot of precautions due to the pandemic. If the COVID-19 situation improves, I would love to come back to Mumbai. I miss shooting, the fast-paced life of Mumbai and my work. In showbiz, it is important to keep doing interesting projects because then the makers know that we actors are keen on working. Things have changed a lot for actresses now and post my maternity break, I want to do roles that will help me grow as an actor.”
On the work front, Lovey has been part of TV shows including Saath Nibhana Saathiya, Kitani Mohabbat Hai 2, Bade Acche Lagte Hai among many others.
