Salman Khan's popular reality show, Bigg Boss, will be returning in the second half of the year with its 15th season. Reportedly, preparations for Bigg Boss 15 have kickstarted with Omung Kumar stepping in as the set designer once again. Amid this, rumours about the contestants were rife. Reports claimed that Ankita Lokhande will be getting locked in the house with other famous celebrities and even commoners.
Now, the actress finally broke her silence and called reports of her participation in Bigg Boss 15 'baseless'. In a statement on Instagram, Ankita said, "It has come to my notice that certain sections of the media have been speculating that I will be participating in Bigg Boss this year. I would like them and everyone at large to know and make a note that I am not going to be a part of the show. The rumours of my participation are baseless. People have been too quick to send me their hatred for something I'm not even a part of."

Reports claimed that Surbhi Chandna and Parth Samthaan have been approached for Bigg Boss 15. However, the popular TV actors dismissed them as false. According to reports, Rhea Chakraborty, Anusha Dandekar, Disha Vakani, Krushna Abhishek, Mohsin Khan, Disha Parmar and Nia Sharma are in talks with the makers. There is no official confirmation regarding it.
Workwise, Ankita will be seen in Pavitra Rishta 2. As per reports, Shaheer Sheikh will romance Ankita.
