Ankita Lokhande was spotted by the paparazzi on Friday in the city. The actor posed for the shutterbugs before she left for her destination. During the pictures, a photographer asked Ankita about the sequel to her popular and hit television show Pavitra Rishta that had made her a household name.
Ankita responded by saying that she is excited for the upcoming show. However, when he said that he will miss Sushant Singh Rajput who starred in the show opposite Ankita when it first aired, the actress responded with, “Chotu bade ho jao (Chotu, grow up).
Pavitra Rishta recently clocked 12 years and was among the most popular television shows in early 2000s. The show was prodeuced by Ekta Kapoor and featured Ankita and Sushant in leading roles. However, Sushant left the show to pursue a career in Bollywood and Hiten Tejwani was roped in to play his role of Manav. Sushant made his debut with Abhishek Kapoor’s Kai Po Che! in 2013.
On Pavitra Rishta clocking 12 years both Ankita and Ekta had shared memories from the show and paid tributes to Sushant’s memory who passed away on June 14, 2020.
