India is celebrating its 75th Independence Day today. On the special occasion, countrymen from different parts of the nation hoisted the tricolour and remembered our freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives to make India independent. The Prime Minister of India started the day by unfurling the tricolour at Red Fort and also addressed our nation. Television celebrities sent out wishes for their fans on social media.
