In 2020, the entertainment industry received one of the biggest shocks when the news of Sushant Singh Rajput's death broke on June 14. As fans were coming to terms with the loss, the news of Sidharth Shukla's demise jolted the industry once again. The popular TV actor and winner of Bigg Boss 13 passed away on Wednesday night in his sleep after suffering a massive cardiac arrest.
On Thursday morning, Sidharth's mother, sister, brother-in-law and rumoured girlfriend Shehnaaz Gill found him unconscious and took him to Cooper Hospital where he was declared dead. Fans and friends of the actor mourned the loss. Sushant's sister Shweta Singh Kirti shared Sidharth's picture on Instagram and offered condolence. She wrote, "You will be missed Siddharth, gone too soon. Hope your soul rests in peace. I wonder, why God calls all the good ones early!"
Sidharth and Sushant started off their acting career in TV and then moved to films gradually. The former participated in reality shows like Khatron Ke Khiladi and Bigg Boss.
Sidharth's funeral is expected to take place around 1 pm today at Oshiwara Crematorium.
