Sidharth Shukla’s untimely and sudden demise left everyone shaken and shocked. His friends and fans are still coming to terms with the news of his death. Yesterday, the actor was cremated in the presence of family and industry friends. While several celebs like Asim Riaz, Aly Goni, Jasmin Bhasin, Rashami Desai, Rahul Mahajan, Sambhavna Seth, and others including his rumoured girlfriend Shehnaaz Gill were present to bid him a final adieu before his funeral, many could not attend and took to social media to express their grief.
Eijaz Khan, shared a heartbreaking post on Instagram today. He wrote, “Mai token gestures me vishwaas nahi rakhta. Lekin mujhe tere se kuch baatein karni hai, jo reh gayi. Aur kaise kahoo samajh nahi aa raha. Sabse pehle to maafi ki maine tera number khoj kar tujhe call nahi kiya ya mila nahi. Pata nahi social awkwardness thi, mai apne life me busy ho gaya, ya yahi sochta raha ki kahi na kahi to mil hi jayenge aur woh kitna acha lagega. Fuck knows how I'm going to forgive myself for this. I'm really sorry bhai. Waha BiggBoss me tere se pyaar ho gaya bhai. Maine zindagi me itne kareeb se kisiko observe nahi kiya. ( Waha to apne swaarth ke liye). Kyunki mujhe waha sirf tu samajh aata tha. Tere usool. Tera bejhijhak sach bolna. Teri competitive spirit. You always made sure you didn't quit till you won. Tera hamesha task ( ya zindagi) ko apne hisaab se samajhna. Tera mujhe ye samjhaana ki strength of character kitna zaroori hai, apni sachchai ko kaise doosro ke saamne rakhna aur convince karna. He further wrote, "Tujhe jitna samjha , tujhe utna aur laad karne dil karta tha yaar. (ab upar InshaAllah I will spoil you ) Iss life me na, ek umar ke baad achi dosti hoti nahi kyunki mauka nahi milta ki aap kisi ke saath utna waqt bitao. I had the honor bhai. The fuckin honor of knowing how you like your food, your salad, your protien shake. (Tujhe woh mango flavor bhijwaana reh gaya yaar ) Tu workout kaise karta hai, health beliefs kya hai, masti kya karta hai , gaane kya pasand hai .. actually mere apno se jyaada shaayad tujhe jaanne ka mauka mila. You are amazing man. .Mera inspiration hai bhai tu. Mera idol. Tu ne ek ek baat jo boli thi na , us se ab bhi mujhe itni taakat milti hai. On the other hand, Sharad Malhotra found it hard to believe that Sidharth Shukla was no more. Now he thinks that there is more to life than just money and fame. He said, “Yesterday, I was at work and there was a message that came on my friend's group saying that such a thing happened. I think for a minute, it did not sink in. I couldn't process it and obviously the phone started ringing. This first thought was that 'no it's a rumour or it's a lame joke', so obviously I verified it. I called up a few people and it actually came out to be true. It totally left most of us numb and shocked. I didn't know him personally, but obviously we are members of the same fraternity. I bumped into him on a couple of occasions. He came across as a warm and smiling guy. I think all I'll say is that life is very unpredictable, live in the moment, love every moment because you don't know when is your last moment and till how long we are here or we are supposed to be here on planet earth. We don't know what happens after death.”
Nivedita Basu, on the other hand said, “When I came to know about this I could not believe it at all. I have been in Kerala for the past ten days and the area does not have a good network. So the moment I saw this news I was in disbelief and thought this is some fake news and now Sidharth would clarify. And I wanted to dial his number to check if this is a prank or something but didn't have the strength. I wanted to know how such a thing could possibly happen to a fit guy like Sidharth. This was his time, he was soaring.. In fact I had offered him a project a few months back and he told me ‘Nivs now is my time to earn and roll’ and I had said ‘yeah do that Sid..tera time aa gaya’, now you should fly high.I'm just wondering if we are feeling this much pain, how much his family must be going through. May they find peace and hope that Sid is in a happier place. Om Shanti.”
