Ramayan's Ravan Arvind Trivedi passes away due to heart attack at 82 years, co-stars Arun Govil, Dipika Chikhlia and Sunil Lahiri mourn his demise

Arvind Trivedi made a place for himself in the hearts of the Indian audience with his memorable performance as Lankesh or Ravan in Ramanand Sagar's iconic television show Ramayan. In the late '80s, Trivedi set the benchmark high for actors. Though the veteran actor wasn't active in the entertainment industry for years, people continued to remember him as Ramayan's Ravan.

On Tuesday night, Trivedi left for his heavenly abode. The veteran actor, who was keeping unwell for quite some time, breathed his last on Tuesday night after suffering a massive heart attack that led to multiple organ failure. Kaustubh Trivedi, the nephew of the actor, confirmed the news to a leading daily and informed that the funeral will take place today (October 6) in Kandivali West, Mumbai. He was 82 years old.
