On Indian television, Rajan Shahi is one of the ruling producers who has been delivering back-to-back hits. Two of his shows- Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Anupamaa are making the right amount of noise and are trending every week. Right from its storyline to performances, the audience is appreciating both the daily soaps. Now, once again, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Anupamaa are trending, this time for different reasons.
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, which is one of the longest-running shows on Indian television, will be going through another leap. Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan, who played Naira/Seerat and Kartik, will be bidding adieu to the show. After the leap, Harshad Chopda will reportedly play Naira and Kartik's son Kairav. Mohsin wrapped the shoot of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on Wednesday and shared pictures with his co-stars on Instagram stories.
On the other hand, Gaurav Khanna, who is seen as Anuj in Anupamaa, has reacted to rumours of a tiff between Rupali Ganguly and Sudhanshu Pandey. In an interview with an entertainment portal, Gaurav told, "I don't think so since I have been very new on the set, I would say not even two months old. But, I feel there is nothing like that and these are basically just rumours. Sudhanshu Pandey and Rupali Ganguly would be able to address this better because I can't say anything on their behalf. But, I haven't seen anything like this. We all have great chemistry off camera too. These days’ people have a lot of behind the scenes videos and one can clearly see everyone bonding so well on the set. We play cricket together, we eat food together, we laugh, and we joke together. So, I don't feel that way."
In June this year, rumours were rife that all is not well between Rupali and Sudhanshu, who play Anupamaa and Vanraj in the show. It was reported that the rift between the on-screen estranged couple was because of ‘cold war and groupism’. However, Rupali and Sudhanshu's co-star Madalsa Sharma called the reports false.
