Another renowned actress lost her life to COVID-19. Renowned actress Madhavi Gogate, who played the role of Rupali Ganguly's mother in the daily soap Anupamaa, breathed her last on Sunday. As per reports, she contracted the virus a few days ago and was seeking treatment. It was being said that she was admitted to a hospital in Andheri after her health deteriorated.
Rupali mourned the demise of her on-screen mother. Sharing her picture, the actress wrote, "So much left unsaid. Sadgati Madhaviji." A fan club dedicated to Anupamaa shared a still of Rupali with Madhavi on Instagram.
Madhavi's friend, actress Nilu Kohli penned a heartfelt note. "Madhavi Gogate my dear friend nooooo.I can't get down to believing that you have left us .Heartbroken @gogatemadhavi you were too young to go.Damn Covid. P.S:I wish I had picked up that damn phone and spoken to you when you did not reply to my msg.All I can do is regret now," she wrote.
Madhavi was 58 years old and had done notable work in the Hindi and Marathi entertainment industry.
