The second season of Colors' flagship show Balika Vadhu is all set to go through a leap. It premiered on August 9 this year with child actors Shreya Patel and Vansh Sayani in the lead. There were rumours that Shivangi Joshi and Randeep Rai were approached to play the roles of Anandi and Jigar post the leap. Now, it has been confirmed. Pictures of Shivangi and Randeep from the sets of Balika Vadhu 2 went viral on social media.
In the pictures, Shivangi and Randeep are posing together. The former was dressed in a red ethnic outfit whereas the latter was in casuals. It appears the actors shot for their first promo of Balika Vadhu 2. Fans are excited to watch Shivangi and Randeep on screen.

Workwise, Shivangi was last seen as Naira and Sirat in Rajan Shahi's long-running show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. She had to bid adieu to make way for a new storyline post a leap. Shivangi was paired with Mohsin Khan in the show.
Randeep shot to fame with Yeh Unn Dino Ki Baat Hai. He was seen in the web show Pavitra Rishta: It's Never Too Late.
