Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal got married on December 9 in Rajasthan but their wedding continues to be the talk-of-the-town. The wedding was an intimate affair and was attended by only a few close Bollywood friends of the actors. Now, in a recently released promo of The Kapil Sharma Show shows Akshay Kumar and Kiku Sharda talking about the wedding in a hilariously cryptic manner and jokes about how they were not invited for the big fat wedding. Sara Ali Khan also appears on the show as she promotes her upcoming film Atrangi Re.
Akshay and Sara visited the sets of The Kapil Sharma Show to promote their film Atrangi Re that also stars Dhanush in the lead. In the promo, Kiku in the garb of his well-loved character Vakil Saab talks about Vicky and Katrina’s wedding and says, “I have just come from Rajasthan after attending a very high profile wedding. You people won't believe I haven't seen a wedding like this one in my entire life.”
To this Akshay asked him, “Why?” and Kiku replies sheepishly, “Because they didn't let me see it. Lekin kafi kaushal mangal se ye… (but it all went well)." Akshay replied to Kiku in the same refrain and asked him taking a dig at Katrina’s nickname of kat and said, “So you must have eaten KitKat at the wedding?”
Vicky and Katrina’s wedding was held at Six Senses Fort Barwara in Sawai Madhopur district in Rajasthan. The actors had shared a list of SOPs with their guests asking them not to share details, photos and videos from the wedding and had asked them to leave their cell phones in their hotel rooms while the wedding festivities would be going on.
