After a long wait, the name of the actress who will be taking Ekta Kapoor's supernatural franchise ahead was announced during Bigg Boss 15's grand finale on Sunday. Tejasswi Prakash will be headlining the show and she is expected to start shooting for it soon. The actress, after spending almost 121 days inside the Bigg Boss 15 house, came out as the winner.
Now, the first promo of Naagin 6 featuring Tejasswi has been released. The video unveiled her look from the show which will air on Colors from February 12. The promo was shared on Colors' official Instagram account and the caption read, "Apne bhavya roop aur teeno kaal ki shaktiyon se duniya ko bachane aa rahi hai Naagin. Zaroor dekhiye #Naagin6, 12th February se Sat-Sun, raat 8 baje only on #colors"

The sixth season of Naagin will be set against the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic. The promos indicate that the protagonist will be seen fighting against the virus to save the world from destruction.
Naagin was launched with Mouni Roy in the lead. She led the first and second seasons of the series. Surbhi Jyoti and Anita Hassanandani headlined the third season whereas Nia Sharma, Jasmin Bhasin (later replaced by Rashami Desai) featured in Naagin 4. The fifth season saw Surbhi Chandna in the titular role.
