Days after their marriage, actor Karishma Tanna and Varun Bangera entered their house with a traditional griha pravesh ceremony on Sunday. In a video posted online, Karishma and Varun were seen being welcomed to the house by Varun's mother.
Now, as the couple has settled in their marital home, Karishma has shared a video of her 'Peheli Rasoi'. Peheli Rasoi is a traditional Indian ritual where the new married woman prepares a sweet dish, mostly halwa, for her husband and his entire family. The video started with Karishma giving a glimpse of her preparation of the dish. After that, she, along with Varun, offered a bowl at their home-mandir. Soon after, Varun sweetly fed Karishma the sweet dish after which she fed him as well. The actress captioned the video as, "Pehli rasoi. Kuch meetha ho jaaye (Let's have something sweet)."
Karishma and Varun tied the knot on February 5. Their wedding and pre-wedding photos and videos created much buzz on social media. Karishma and Varun’s wedding was an intimate affair with close friends and family as per covid protocols.
