Karan Kundrra is very supportive, wouldn't interfere in work decisions related to me: Tejasswi Prakash on report of BF not allowing her to kiss on-screen

Tejasswi Prakash and Karan Kundrra are the newest lovebirds in town. The beginning of their love story was witnessed by fans of Bigg Boss 15. While some called their relationship 'toxic', some felt it is just another way to express love. Now, in a recent interview with an entertainment portal, Tejasswi spoke about Karan being the insecure one and claimed that he asked her to not kiss on-screen.

In the interview, Tejasswi said, "I am not the possessive one, he is more possessive and insecure. I always tell him you are very smart that you don't display this side in public and I get the insecure tag. I will understand his role's demand and will be very supportive of him. I know he has done this kissing scene and all, but he has clearly told him that I shouldn't kiss onscreen, so he is insecure one and not me."

However, in a statement later, Tejasswi clarified that Karan never interferes in her work life. She said, "Over the years I have never really had to do such scenes on screen for any of my shows, and even if I have to do something of that sort it will only be when the script requires me to go in that direction. Coming to Karan, he has been in this industry long enough to know that when work calls for a requirement it is important.  Karan is very professional and supportive and would never interfere in work decisions related to me."

She added, "In fact, he was just teasing me by saying no kissing scenes because I was the one who was teasing him in the past for doing such scenes on screen. So honestly both our statements were just lighthearted. Neither of us would come in between our work requirements because we both Karan and I are thorough professionals at the end of the day."

In a now-deleted tweet, Karan reacted to the entire episode. "Read some s**t written about me today… not surprised anymore... kind of reminds me of something lol... déjà vu!! narratives much... I’m done defending myself and expecting someone will... didn’t happen then... then why today," he had written in the tweet. Tejasswi, on Twitter, called herself lucky for having Karan. She wrote, "Blessed are those who find companionship. And it’s sad when a joke is turned into ‘toxicity’. I am good with love, those who want to can choose their negativity! @kkundrra you are perfect, and I’m one lucky gal!"

Sharing screenshots of the original interview, Karan replied, "As usual, the joke is on me". He deleted the tweet sometime later.
