Television’s popular drama Anupamaa is all set to break the stereotypes and witness the wedding of its two lead characters Anupama (Rupali Ganguly) and Anuj (Gaurav Khanna). A recently released promo of the upcoming wedding has left the fans of the show immensely excited. Since May 4, the makers have been showing pre-wedding festivities of Anupama and Anuj, now finally almost a lapse of 15 days the fans will get to witness their loved characters tie the knot and seal the deal.
On Tuesday, the makers teased the audience with a small glimpse of the would-be bride and groom and today, Rupali took to Instagram to share her full bridal look whereas Gaurav also revealed his groom look. As the episode aired, the fans of the show expressed their excitement and happiness on social media. A fan shared the promo of the episode and wrote, “The moment we have all been waiting for is finally here!!” Within moments the hashtag #MaAnKiShaadi started trending on social media.
A few fans who watched the episode on Disney+Hotstar ahead of its television telecast posted clips from the wedding. Rupali can be seen in a traditional white and red bridal trousseau while Gaurav wore a red sherwani with green safa.
