Today, starting 8 pm, Saturday, 25th June, fans from India and across the world will get to see on Colors television, the highly anticipated IIFA Awards, the mega star-studded celebration of Indian cinema, as the 22nd Edition of the International Indian Film Academy and Awards (IIFA), took over the Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. And before the IIFA Awards broadcast, the IIFA Green Carpet will roll out at 6 pm to let viewers have a look at the stars as they converge on Yas Island and meet each other at the first-ever mega cinema event after the pandemic.

Giving Indian cinema a global platform, the Awards were held at the Middle East’s largest state-of-the-art indoor entertainment venue, Etihad Arena, part of Yas Bay Waterfront on June 3rd and 4th, 2022, in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), and Miral, Abu Dhabi’s leading creator of immersive destinations and experiences.
