Urfi/Uorfi Javed is often in the limelight for her fashion experiments. She grabs attention for her bold choices and at the same time, she gets criticised for wearing bold outfits. According to recent reports, the Bigg Boss OTT star was rumoured to be detained in Dubai while shooting a video in 'revealing' clothes. Soon after the buzz gained ground, Urfi clarified in a statement that the cops didn't detain her.
She informed that the cops did arrive to stop the shoot due to an issue with the location and it had nothing to do with her outfit. "The police had arrived to stop the shoot because of some issues at the location. There was a time till when we were allowed to shoot as it was a public place, the production team didn't extend the timing, hence we had to leave. It had nothing to do with my clothes at all. We shot the remaining part the next day so it was all sorted," Urfi told in a statement.
Amid trolls and negativity caused due to naysayers, Urfi featured in Google's list of Most Searched Asian in 2022. She grabbed the 57th spot. According to reports, she left actresses like Disha Patani, Kiara Advani, Janhvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan behind.
Workwise, Urfi was recently seen on Splitsvilla 14. She also appeared in Netflix's year-end spoof video.
