Shalin Bhanot is returning to the television screen with a show titled Beqaboo. He was offered the lead role in the supernatural show by Ekta Kapoor during the grand finale of Bigg Boss 16. He is paired with Eisha Singh. Beqaboo will premiere on Colors in March. The first promo of the show was unveiled on social media yesterday.
The promo of Beqaboo confirmed that the show is heavily inspired by Ayan Mukerji-directed Brahmastra. At least in terms of the visual effects and production. According to the promo, Shalin and Eisha's characters have a past life wherein he's a Rakshas and she's an angel. Towards the end of the promo, their alter egos, a raging bull and an angel, are highlighted.
Sharing the promo, Shalin wrote, "#NewBeginnings here to make you all #Beqaboo! Thank you to my digital family, #ShalinKiSena and everyone who has been a part of this journey, this one is for all of you."
According to reports, Shivangi Joshi and Zain Imam will be seen in cameo roles in Beqaboo. They're expected to be starring in the initial few episodes of the fantasy drama bankrolled by Ekta Kapoor.
