Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actor Dilip Joshi's residence allegedly surrounded by 25 armed men, police investigation underway

Dilip Joshi, who is popularly known for playing the role of Jethalal Gada in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, reportedly received a threat. According to reports, 25 men with weapons and guns were seen outside the actor's residence near Shivaji Park in Dadar. On February 1, the Nagpur Control Room reportedly received a call informing the police about the same. It is being said that it was the same call where the caller warned about bombs being planted outside industrialist Mukesh Ambani and actors Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra's residences.

The person who called the cops reportedly told that he heard about 25 people who came to Mumbai to pull off these activities. As per a news portal's report, the number was tracked and it apparently belonged to a person working in a SIM card company in Delhi. Reportedly, it was spoofed without his permission by an anonymous user with the help of a special phone app.

Soon after the call was made, Nagpur Control Room informed the Shivaji Park Police Station to initiate an investigation. The search for the real caller has underway. Dilip is yet to react to the entire matter.

Post the phone call, the Supreme Court instructed the Centre to provide Z+ security to Mukesh Ambani and his family. Reportedly, it will be made available to them across the globe.
