Vaibhavi Upadhyaya passed away in a tragic accident on May 22. She died in a car accident and could not survive after her vehicle fell into a gorge in Himachal Pradesh. She was with her fiance, Jay Gandhi, at the time of the accident, who fortunately survived. Now, Jay has shared a heart-wrenching and emotional note for Vaibhavi.
Sharing an adorable picture, he wrote, “UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN….Those special memories of you will always bring a smile if only I could have you back for just a little while, then we could sit and talk again just like we used to do. You always meant so very much and always will do too. The fact that you are no longer here will always cause me pain, but you are forever in my heart UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN….R I P my love.”
He had also shared a post remembering Vaibhavi a few days back and written, “I only miss you every minute of everyday. You will never truly be gone, I will hold you safe in my heart forever. Gone too soon RIP my Gundi, I love you.”
Jay had dismissed rumours of rash driving or not wearing seat belts after the accident. Vaibhavi Upadhyay was known for playing the role of Jasmine in the TV show Sarabhai vs Sarabhai. She also starred in TV show, Kya Qasoor Hai Amla Ka, the digital series Please Find Attached, in Deepika Padukone's film Chhapaak and the 2023 film, Timir. She was also popular in the Gujarati theatre.
