In an unfortunate turn of events, sisters Amandeep Sohi and Dolly Sohi lost their lives to health issues. The television actresses were admitted to Apollo Hospital in New Mumbai. While Dolly was battling cervical cancer since 2023, Amandeep was hospitalised for jaundice. The latter passed away yesterday whereas the former breathed her last early this morning.
Dolly and Amandeep's family issued a statement to Indian Express and shared, "We are devastated. Dolly passed away around 4am this morning." Their brother, Manu Sohi further said, "Both Dolly and Amandeep were admitted to Apollo Hospital in New Mumbai. Amandeep passed away yesterday and now Dolly."
The Sohi sisters were popular on television. Amandeep was seen in shows like Badtameez Dil. Dolly acted in multiple daily soaps including Bhabhi, Kalash, Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi and Khoob Ladi Mardaani Jhansi Ki Rani Her last on-screen appearance was in Jhanak. She quit the show for her cancer treatment.
