Social media influencer and Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav has now responded to the viral video of thrashing YouTuber Sagar Thakur aka Maxtern yesterday. He released a video message sharing his side of the story and narrated the events that led to this aggression.
Elvish said that there was no animosity between him and Sagar in the past, however, his latest remarks about him triggered the aggression. The Big Boss OTT 2 winner recalled Maxtern's threat "Tujhe aur tere gharwale ko zinda jala dunga. (I will burn you and your family members alive)."
Yadav claimed Thakur passed unwanted threat messages on his family which did not go well with him. Elvish feared that Maxtern could cause harm to his family in his absence. In the video message, Elvish asked netizens to not believe in verified material on social media without knowing both sides of the story. In a video on Instagram, Elvish Yadav also asked his followers how they would react to such threats.
An FIR has been registered under sections 147 (punishment for rioting), 149 (unlawful assembly), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the IPC at Gurugram's Sector-53 Police Station. After the incident, Maxtern issued a statement levelling allegations against Elvish.
