Rumours of Munmun Dutta and Raj Anadkat's engagement gained ground this evening. The former co-stars of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah have been making headlines for the longest time due to their alleged relationship. Now, amid gossips around their engagement, Munmun and Raj issued statements, dismissing the news as false. 

Reacting to the rumour of getting engaged to Munmun, who is 11 years older to him, Raj's team stated, "Hello Everyone, Just to clear things up, the news you’ve been seeing on social media is false and baseless. Team Raj Anadkat."

On the other hand, Munmun took a dig at reports and called the rumour false. Sharing the picture of a cup of tea, the actress wrote, "'Fake' news toh chalti rahegi. But nothing beats evening tea with my girl gang."

According to a News18 report, a source told, "The engagement took place just a few days back. The two apparently exchanged rings in Vadodara (Gujarat). Munmun and Raj’s families have accepted their relationship and they were also present at the ceremony."
