Sonu of TV show "Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah" i.e. Palak Siddhwani recently accused the show's producer Asit Kumar Modi of mental harassment and not paying dues. Palak Siddhwani said that she faced a lot of problems during the shooting of the show, and her health problems were not resolved even after working for 12 hours.
Now Asit Kumar Modi has given his reaction on this. Talking to Times of India, he said that every artist is paid their salary on time. He said, "If the artist had shared their problems with us earlier, we would have understood. Every artist working with us is paid on time. Some artists have been working with us for 16 years and they never had any problem."
Asit Kumar Modi also said, "We have to maintain discipline on the set. If you are working with an organization, do you expect to do other work as well? Similarly, we also have some rules because we have to shoot 26 episodes every month." Reacting to Palak Siddhwani's allegations, he said, "If the atmosphere on our set was really this bad, no artist would have been able to work for more than a year."
Palak Siddhwani had made several serious allegations, including that she was threatening to delete her Instagram account. Apart from this, she also alleged that despite shooting for 12 hours, no understanding was shown about her poor health. Palak says that her dues of Rs 21 lakh were also withheld. Asit Kumar Modi completely denied Palak Siddhwani's allegations and said that he always treats artists properly and no kind of harassment is done.
