Abraham and Thakore with their oh-so-promising ensembles have returned yet again to another edition of the Lakme Fashion Week. The designer duo's current line, 'Cocktails and Samosas' features ensembles that are ideal for an evening party or a cocktail occasion. Here's a breakdown from their show:

Twisted Sarees

The sarees got a contemporary fusion with peplum blouses, slit tops and so on. The textured fabrics complimented their co-ords in a delectable manner.

Sequins were found on the lapels of the ensembles or as the major element of the outfit. Either way, the muted metallic colors make it look bold yet beautiful in an amazing manner.

Contemporary bottoms

Skirts, palazzos and parallel pants... all of those found their way in the collection from the designer duo. A mix if embroidery, patchwork, textured fabrics and embellishments were seen in their outfits.

The shorts and dhoti got a new avatar too! Nehru coats and trench shrugs also made an appearance. Cheggit out!

Wrap it up!

A hearty mix of wrap blouses, dresses, kurtas and so was seen in their current collection. The tie belt made an appearance more than a couple times in their ensembles. Not only did they keep up with the trends of today, but also gave the ethnic outfits a dramatic edge with these quirky details.
