Lakme Fashion Week, the leader of innovation is back with its 2018 W/F edition. And just like every year, the first day of the week is all about putting the fresh talent on the map. Day-1 ended with a bang with Good Earth, the home-grown luxury label that offers sustainable clothing ventured into the couture week.

As the name says Gen-Next, instead of a regular runway show, they stunned the audience with an off-site theatrical presentation. The collection titled ‘The Miniaturist’, showcased the slow fashion and is a collection of 27 ensembles that have been painstakingly hand-crafted, each piece timeless and unique.

They re-visit the era bygone with Begums, a bevy of girls doing their hair and snacking on grapes, and a single girl dancing in the moonlight. The Good Earth team brought the miniature paintings alive with musicians playing in the background.
