The Lakme Fashion Week 2019 is back with a bang! Ushering all the new trends in style, the Summer/Resort week is here to give us a big, fat sartorial dose.

Kick-starting day 1 at the fashion week, we bring to you all the names to watch out for at the runway.

Day 1 will feature the next-gen designers, who will showcase elevated designs, couture creations and most importantly, sustainable fashion. Easy, breezy and contemporary in its glory, these designers will surely set trends that are here to stay.

NIFD presents all the Gen-X designers that will set the day flowing. Followed by Bobo Calcutta, Ajay Kumar, Helena Bajaj Larsen and Yavi, we should expect ensembles and silhouettes that can be passed as wearable art, with a splash of color, prints and a lot of spunk!

While Varun Bahl is expected to make us swoon with his ethereal creations, Sneha Arora, with her structured ensembles in serene hues, is the one to watch out for! While we have a lot of expectations from Asa Kazingmei's young, youthful collection, we simply cannot wait for Gauri and Nainika's show!

The Kashmir Collection by Rohit Bal, to be presented by Usha Silai will give the rightful ending to Day 1.
