The Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2019 has announced its arrival and how! With Day 1 showcasing all the Gen-Next designers and new-age couture labels.

While we're still reeling from the after-effects of the first day's showcase, we're extremely excited for what the Day 2 at the runway has in store for us! Here's what to expect from today's line-up at the fashion aisle:

Day 2 at LFW is all about sustainability, more responsible and environment-friendly fashion. Today we'll also see a lot of artisan friendly labels that pioneer the future for the fashion industry.

Starting with R-Elan, Anita Dongre Grassroot and Raymond's initiative, the sustainable fashion day will begin at a rightful note. Followed by #Fashup fashion revolution, we have a lot of exciting ensembles that are environment-friendly to look forward to.

Next, we have Anaam XRangsutra, Anka and Ereena showcasing an array of prints, colors and minimalistic ensembles. Japanese label, Bunon is expected to make an impression with their recent collection while Woolmark Company X Pero, with Bhuttico Weavers Cooperative Society's support, is set to end the day on the right note.

The end of the day brings the biggest surprise, with Anita Dongre's recent collection being unveiled at the runway.
