Day 2 at Lakme Fashion Week was all about sustainable and eco-friendly fashion. While we saw a lot of handloom-spun and khadi textiles, we also saw some fun colours and spunky ensembles. One such show was the Pero and Woolmark Company's collaboration and you have to see the details!
Keeping the theme in mind, the labels in question made sure that the playful element of their outfits isn't lost in the wind. Setting an ambience with the lights, peppy music, street dancers and skateboarders, the show began on a rather fun note. The model even used cycles as a prop.
Sticking to blues, olives and ochre, we saw a lot or layering, accessorizing to the contemporary, yet sustainable silhouettes on the runway. Sweaters, jackets, hoodies and coats, we saw them all! Berets and hats were also seen extensively on the aisle.
All in all, great collection, fun show and a visionntor a brighter tomorrow.
